These tips are formed from a Pt/Ir wire and cut at the end to form the tip. The wire is 0.25mm in diameter and 6mm in length. Recommended for Dimension SPM. Also work for Caliber. For MultiMode & Caliber, 8mm tip (Model PT10) is recommended. STM tips are meant to be used with a conductive sample.
