This holder is custom engineered to easily mount the Anasys Instruments ThermaLeverTM probes in the MultiMode AFM head and electrically connect to the NanoTA2/SThM electronics.
It is designed to hold the EX style probe mount and is not compatible with the MM style probe mount.
It enables Multimode AFM users to use the thermal probes in tapping mode or contact mode operation depending on the type of thermal probe selected.
